Author Biography

Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, D.Sc., PE, SE, Esq. graduated from the University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan; received his M.Sc. (H. Hon.) from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, and D.Sc. from Washington University at St. Louis. Dr. Iqbal also receive an MBA in finance from University of Chicago, J.D. from NIU college of law, and LLM from the UIC, College of Law at Chicago. He has had PE and SE licenses in several states and serves on several technical committees. He is a licensed attorney in Illinois. Dr. Iqbal has coauthored books and published numerous papers on engineering and law. Dr. Iqbal has taught courses internationally on the NCEES examinations. He has co-authored books on the FE and PE model exams.

Ali Iqbal, PE, is currently an Assistant Civil Engineer for the City of Sausalito. He holds bachelor of science in civil engineering from California State University - Sacramento. He continues to work in public service after roughly five years working for the County of Marin, where he split time between the Engineering and Land Development Divisions. Prior to being a public servant, he spent several years in various consulting firms. His consulting experience ranges from single family land development to major light rail transportation projects. In the past, he has taught review courses for the EIT exam and has previously co-authored: Civil Engineering FE Exam Preparation Workbook and PPI FE Civil Exams—Five Full Practice Exams With Step-By-Step Solutions.
