Author Biography

A Denver resident, Curtis Casewit has written more than 40 books, eight of them travel guides. He writes travel columns regularly for newspapers nationwide and lectures at several writing workshops during the summer. He taught creative writing at the University of Colorado for 30 years. Alli Rainey lived in Boulder, Colorado until she became a permanent traveler in September 2001. An avid rock climber, she now travels around the country visiting climbing areas and other offbeat destinations while continuing to pursue her freelance writing career.
