DJ BBQ (aka Christian Stevenson) is a live fire chef and a leading name in the world of BBQ. After a successful broadcasting career fronting shows for MTV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 (including award-winning Rad), he harnessed his passion for cooking over fire and now has his own YouTube channel with more than 175K subscribers (he's also a regular big-hitter on Jamie Oliver's FoodTube). DJ BBQ stars in and hosts festivals including Meatopia, The Big Feastival, Camp Bestival, Grilltopia and The Big Grill. He is a chef on Food.com, and has contributed to This Morning, FHM, Independent, Daily Mail and the Chris Evans Breakfast Show among many others. He has a BBQ spice rub range with US brand Spiceology, and his brand affiliations include Hellmann's, Renault, B&Q and Kid Rock's American Bad Ass Grill. He is the author of Fire Food (2018), The Burger Book (2019) and Fire Feasts (2022). This time Christian is joined by David Wright and Chris Taylor. David Wright won ITV's Britain's Best Bakery in 2014 and BIA Baker of the Year in 2017, he's a third-generation baker who has carved a niche for live fire baking. In 2020 David demonstrated his ability to bake over fire in Sky's The Third Day, a 12-hour live performance starring Jude Law, created by Punchdrunk International. David is currently the Head Baker at Pump St Bakery in Suffolk, UK and does live fire baking demos at all the major food festivals. His brownies are also award-winning! Chris Taylor DJ BBQ's right hand man and co-wrote Fire Feasts. Once working behind the scenes on Masterchef UK, he now cooks up fiery feasts up and down the country. He also helps run Whittle & Flame, a UK-based sustainable charcoal manufacturer.
