Summary

Another exhibition on Hannah Höch? Haven't we already paid extensive tribute to Dada and Höch? Haven't we already adequately covered every detail of their eventful lives? Is there anything left to say? However, these questions are confronted with the extensive oeuvre, its heterogeneity and complexity, its contradictions and problems. It virtually forces us to repeatedly adopt new perspectives, to take up divergent aspects that have perhaps already been addressed, but which can be critically circled and exemplarily brought to the center of attention under different auspices. The change of perspective, the fragility and discontinuity in continuity has Hannah Höch herself declared several times as her motto and artistic program, and therefore gives the track in her own statements.
