For public television, he has also directed the award-winning documentaries <i>Coney Island</i>, <i>The Donner Party</i>, and <i>The Way West</i>.<br><br>James Sanders, an architect, has written for the <i>New York Times</i>, the <i>Los Angeles Times</i>, <i>Vanity Fair</i>, and <i>Architectural Record</i>.
